Who should attend?

  • City Corps members in their junior and senior year of high school

 

What is the purpose of the program?

  • To assist members in developing career goals and creating job objectives
  • To teach members the fundamentals of marketing themselves for job placement
  • To provide life-long employment skills

What topics will be covered?

Setting career and educational goals post high school

Translating your life activities or interests into career objectives

Learning how to ace an interview

Creating a plan to achieve your career objective

How to put together a winning resume

Generating job leads


How do I sign up?
You must first complete and submit your Resume Worksheet (available below) by February 2nd.

Enroll by completing the Registration Form online or with a VCC staff member

Please note that in order to receive credit for the workshop, you must plan to attend all workshop sessions.
