Ventura City Corps needs you!

Factoids: 
City Corps members are between the ages of 12 and 18
City Corps Team Leaders and advisers are 18 and older

Tweens and Teens: Become a member in 5 easy steps! (No purchase necessary!)

STEP 1: If you are between the ages of 12 and 18 make sure you fill our member application.

STEP 2: Come in to meet us! Also, make sure your application has been received and approved.

STEP 3: Plan to attend at least one our weekly meetings

STEP 4: Start coming in after school to help with general, small projects or sign up in advance for a weekend or evening project.

STEP 5: RINSE AND REPEAT... Uh, we mean invite a friend to join and spread the word!


College Age Volunteers: We're not letting you off the hook that easily!
Ventura City Corps needs dedicated college age volunteers at least once every week between 3:30pm and 5:30pm Tuesday-Friday. (There are also evening and weekend projects available)

 

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a group of 4-10 teen volunteers.

An example of the types of volunteer work available are:

Downtown cleanups

Beach litter removals

Block by Block restoration projects

Gardening

Assisting senior citizens

Graffiti removals

Weed Abatement

Art Projects

Tutoring

All projects are designed to helping our youth members to take ownership of our community in positive ways.
